This will be our 28st time taking part in Bout of Books!
1. How many books did you read during this readathon? Did you have any favorites?
I finished 3 and read a good chunk of another. I loved all but the cat one.
2. How many books did you finish?

3. Did you accomplish your goals for this readathon?
I didn't have one aside from enjoying myself and I did that. So yes!
4. How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time?
We always get too much but didn't go crazy this time. The meals went well. Maybe more cookies next time.
5. Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time?
I did. I think our schedule worked well, me getting up later and also having all our meals planned. Having lunch at home saved us time.
6. Will you be continuing your readathon reading past the end of our official readathon?
Not a read-a-thon really but I read every day. But as it's October I have scary movies to watch now!
I finished Black Dahlia by Rick Geary, started and finished How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You by The Oatmeal and started The Graphic Novel by Kiersten White.

1. How many books have you been reading? Have you finished any? Are you on track with respect to your readathon goals so far?
I stuck with one book I had already started and finished it. No goals so I'm doing fine.
2. Have you eaten real food today? (Not just junk food, ACTUAL HEALTHY FOOD) What was your favorite food or beverage so far?
Yes, I had breakfast and lunch. Dunkin Donuts was a great breakfast.
3. Have you been participating in any of the activities on our social media (sprints, photo challenges, discussion questions, BINGO, etc.)
Aside from these survey, no. Just been reading.
4. Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?
Not yet. I'll stop early if I get too tired.
5. Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?
We went to Starbucks so I've been outside. It's too hot here to be out much.
6. How is your readathon going, overall?
Fine, lowkey which is good.

I'm not a morning person so I always sleep through the first few hours of the RAT.

To read and enjoy myself. The last few months have been rough so no set goals.

We didn't plan any this time. Def not our normal.

I'd prob go back to our normal routine of a little planning.

This last month has been a lot. We lost my mom last Friday.

Just to read and relax. We're spreading it out a bit through Sunday as the World Cup is on.

Once again we had a busy week during Bout of Books. I really wanted to finish I Must Betray You and Artificial Conditions and did that plus more. So I'm happy.

5 and DNFd one. I read for 12 hours and aprox 878 pages.
We Band of Angels & They Called us Enemy were favs but all my books were really good.

Did you accomplish your goals for this readathon?
I did. I really wanted to finish Angels and did so. I read all the books on my TBR too, aside from the DNF.
How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time?
We definitey went out less and that was nice. We had sandwiches and breakfast at home and some snacks.
Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time?
I did! I loved staying at home, camping out on our new furniture. I may make dinner in the crockpot next time.

I then started Bitch Planet, Vol. 1: Extraordinary Machine by Kelly Sue DeConnick but quickly realized it wasn't for me and DNF'd it. I started They Called Us Enemy by George Takei and got just a little ways in but am really enjoying it.

I don't like morning, I love books and soccer and this is one of my favorite days of the year.

To finish We Band of Angels: The Untold Story of American Nurses Trapped on Bataan by the Japanese by Elizabeth M. Norman. It's a good book but a hard one and I've been reading it for weeks.

I read 34 pages in This Is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Medical Resident by Adam Kay and finished it, read 94 pages in Convenience Store Woman Sayaka Murata and finished it too. I started and read 14 pages in How to Be Perfect: The Correct Answer to Every Moral Question Michael Schur and started and read 5 pages in A Fatal Grace by Louise Penny.
This week was crazy with my mom being in the hospital for 6 days of it. I really wanted to finish This is Going to Hurt & All Systems Red. Accomplishing that plus finishing Convenience Store Woman was great.
