Closing Survey

 

How many books did you read during this readathon? Did you have any favorites?

5 and DNFd one. I read for 12 hours and aprox 878 pages.

We Band of Angels & They Called us Enemy were favs but all my books were really good.


How many books did you finish?

Did you accomplish your goals for this readathon?

I did. I really wanted to finish Angels and did so. I read all the books on my TBR too, aside from the DNF.


How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time?

We definitey went out less and that was nice. We had sandwiches and breakfast at home and some snacks.


Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time?

I did! I loved staying at home, camping out on our new furniture. I may make dinner in the crockpot next time.

Hour 13-15

 

I started Heartstopper: Volume Two by Alice Oseman and finished it. I then started Bitch Planet, Vol. 1: Extraordinary Machine by Kelly Sue DeConnick but quickly realized it wasn't for me and DNF'd it. I started They Called Us Enemy by George Takei and got just a little ways in but am really enjoying it.

I've finished 3. I finished We Band of Angels which was my main goal.


Have you eaten real food today? (Not just junk food, ACTUAL HEALTHY FOOD) What was your favorite food or beverage so far?

Yep, though so far the candy was my fav!

Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?

I am, more emotionally than physically after my first book but I'll rally. I won't make it the whole time but I've got more in me.


Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?

I went to Starbucks so I've been ouside.


How is your readathon going, overall?

Pretty good!

I started Your Guide to Not Getting Murdered in a Quaint English Village by Maureen Johnson and finished it. I then started That Can Be Arranged: A Muslim Love Story by Huda Fahmy and finished that one.

Starting out with We Band of Angels: The Untold Story of American Nurses Trapped on Bataan by the Japanese by Elizabeth M. Norman. Small writing and non-fiction so I read this slowly.

To finish We Band of Angels: The Untold Story of American Nurses Trapped on Bataan by the Japanese by Elizabeth M. Norman. It's a good book but a hard one and I've been reading it for weeks.
