Closing Survey

 

1. How did your Readathon go overall? What were the highlights for you? Disappointments? Things you might do differently next time? 

I had a great readathon. I finished all the books I had a goal to finish and enjoyed the time.

2. Are you continuing to read for the rest of the weekend? 

We read every day so, yes, but not more than normal.

3. How many books have you read in this Readathon? How many have you finished? Which was your favorite? 

I read and finished:

Pedro and Me: Friendship, Loss, and What I Learned by Judd Winick

The Lost Boys by Tim Seeley

No Rules Tonight by Kim Hyun Sook

The Heart: Frida Kahlo in Paris by Marc Petitjean

No Rules Tonight was my favorite. 

4. Do you plan to do other reading events or readathons between now and October 18th (our next Readathon)? 

I belong to several reading groups.

5. Have you added any tempting books to your TBR during this Readathon? 

I added Good Old-Fashioned Korean Spirit to my TBR.

Hours 13-16

 I read pages 15 in The Heart: Frida Kahlo in Paris by Marc Petitjean and finished it. I started and finished No Rules Tonight by Kim Hyun Sook, reading 204 pages.

I read for 115 minutes

I read 219 pages. 

We made cookies and got in one scary movie for the day too - Friday the 13th.

Good and Nope!

2. Have you eaten real food yet in the past 12 hours? How much water have you drunk so far in the past 12 hours? (Maybe drink some water now just on principle...)

I had breakfast, some coffee, a snack and a little water.

3.Are you doing a Bingo board or other specific challenge during this Readathon? How is that going so far?

Not this time.

4. Have you finished any books so far in this half of the Readathon?

I finished 2 in the first half.

5. Are you on track to finish what you want to this weekend? What are your plans for the next 12 hours?

I'm down to one graphic to finish, so def on track!

I read 46 pages in The Lost Boys by Tim Seeley and finished it. I read 42 pages in The Heart: Frida Kahlo in Paris by Marc Petitjean.

I read for 101 minutes

I read 88 pages. 






Hours 7-9

I read 126 pages in Pedro and Me: Friendship, Loss, and What I Learned by Judd Winick and finished it. 

I started The Lost Boys by Tim Seeley and read 98 pages.

I read for 167 minutes.

I read 224 pages.

I’ve learned to let myself sleep in so I can enjoy the rat. Favorite thing is a day dedicated to reading and seeing everyone’s books.

2b. What are your goals, and what are you looking forward to during this Readathon?

I’d like to read all three graphics on my list and finish The Heart.

3. What are you looking forward to eating and drinking during this Readathon?

Cookies!

4. Are you sticking to our official Readathon times or adjusting for your schedule/preferences/etc.?

Adjusting a bit but only counting what I read in the 24 hrs.

Starbucks and home.

Pretty good considering I had a headache that cut into reading.

A little, yes. We read every day.

I read from 5 and finished 4. Saga was my favorite. 

4.  Do you plan to do other reading events or readathons between now and October 18th (our next Readathon)?

Not really, just read like I normally do.

Thankfully, no. MY TBR needs no help.

I’ve finished 2 and am well into a third.

I am. 4 graphics was my goal along with some reading in my other 2 books. Just gonna camp at Starbucks and enjoy.

Just a time set aside to just read and enjoy myself.

Get through some graphic novels I had planned for the month.

Ice cream

Yep, I had a good time.

4. How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time?

We really didn't snack much. We ate meals as planned. Had an easy breakfast and that always helps.

5. Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time?

I did. Having a stack of shorter books was nice.

6. Will you be continuing your readathon reading past the end of our official readathon?

Just reading as normal.

I finished all three. I'm having fun so I'm on track.

Yep. I had breakfast and lunch.

Not yet. I got a late start so focusing on reading for now.

I had a sleepy spell for a bit but rallied after some food.

6. Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?

I walked to and from the car.

Going well.

I read 107 pages ib Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson and finished it.

I started This Winter by Alice Oseman, read 115 page and finished it.

I read for 106 minutes

I read 222 pages.

I started Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson and read 133 pages. 

I read for 94 minutes

 I was sleeping. I got up and ate breakfast and am now ready to read.
