Yes. Sprinkle a few middle grades in with what I was reading, early and late and it worked.

We're staying at a different hotel and thanks to Covid my bestie isn't with us.

 OK I'm awake...sort of. I slept for the first two hours and just now starting the day. I'll do the survey, eat breakfast and get to reading.

So like the rest of 2020 nothing is normal for Dewey's. Yes, we're staying in a hotel but thanks to Covid it's just me and Richard. I'll be checking in with Nancy throughout the day though. I'm actually really happy with how I did. I read 439 pages and finished two books, reading for 692 minutes. I finished my book club book which was my major goal and I got halfway into another.

2. Did you have a strategy, and if so, did you stick to it?

Focus on Daisy and The Six and yes, I did.

3. What was your favorite snack?

Brownies with ice cream

I love to read and take part in reading challenges each month which has made my reading pace really pick up the last few years. I'm a die hard Supernatural fan, go to cons and even write fanfic for the show. I have one dog, 6 cats and the best husband ever.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

Last reverse readathon my best friend was reading with my husband and I. Covid has made that too risky so it's just me and my husband, though I'll be checking in with my bestie throughout.
